Back to School Weekend isn’t just about new routines and packed lunches. It’s about resetting your focus and remembering what matters most. At Redemption, we believe every person was made to know God and live on mission. And that includes your whole family. It’s going to be a great day for our entire church family. After service, we’ll host a Block Party with food trucks, games, and more.

Block party
Right after service, we’ll be hosting a Back to School Block Party with a food truck, games, baptisms, and more! It’s going to be a fun afternoon for the whole church family and a great opportunity to invite someone to join you.
Student commissioning
As our Redemption Kids embark on a very exciting school year, we will bring them on stage to pray over them, their families, and their educators.
New teaching series
We will begin a new message series called, “Built Different”.
In this series, we’ll explore the God-given purpose of our feelings. Each week, we’ll focus on one of the eight core feelings identified by Chip Dodd in his book, The Voice of the Heart—shame, hurt, fear, loneliness, sadness, anger, guilt, and gladness—and discover how these emotions aren’t obstacles to faith, but invitations to deeper connection with God, ourselves, and others.
BAPTISMS
We will be baptizing during our 10am service on September 21st. Have you been considering getting baptized? Take this step in obedience today!
College Students: Dessert & Game Night
College is more than classes and coffee shops—it’s a season of becoming. At Redemption College, you’ll find a thriving community of college-aged adults where you can grow spiritually, build real friendships, and step into the calling God has for you.
We’re kicking things off with an fun night that sets the tone for the rest of the semester.
Community group Kickoff
Growing in your relationship with Jesus only happens when you’re growing in relationships with other people. Discipleship happens in community! We will be launching our Fall Community & DNA Group Semester!
Don’t Just Attend—Serve
When you serve, you step into God’s bigger story. Whether it’s holding a door or holding a baby, every role helps people take a step closer to Jesus. If you regularly serve on Sundays at Redemption, we’d love for you to continue to serve on your team on August 23. If you’ve never served at Redemption before, or haven’t served in a while, there are plenty of opportunities for you to invest in the generation behind you this fall.
