Even though we don’t quite exist as a church yet, we’re looking for some staff positions! It’ll require a little flexibility and courage on the part of those who are interested, but it’ll be worth it. We’re starting from the ground level, and we get to be a part of building a growing church from the very beginning.
We’re hoping to have four staff positions for the launch of Redemption Church. The Lead Pastor position is primary, but then we’ve also identified an Executive Pastor for the position, as well! We will reveal who it is later on for purposes of him being able to finish out his current position well… (so much intrigue, haha!).
Then we also want to hire two more full-time positions. A Worship Coordinator and a College Coordinator. These positions will be vital for us to reach freshman in college once we launch.

Worship Coordinator
Summary: The worship coordinator is responsible for overseeing the worship team and Sunday gathering worship experience every week at Redemption Church.
Qualifications: Models personal conduct and lifestyle after Jesus; Fully participates in the life of the church as an active covenant member; Supports and adheres to our mission, vision, values, and philosophy of ministry; Submits to and supports the leadership of the church elders; Works well as a team player with the elders, staff, key leaders, and volunteers.
Requirements: Creative; High EQ; Team player; Modern worship style; Wholly invested in the mission and vision of Redemption Church through participation and personal giving.
Competencies: Managing a budget; Strong lead vocalist and public speaker; Plays at least one instrument; Strong understanding of musical theory; Basic understanding of gear and setup; Ability to lead an effective band and transitions practice; Handles mistakes and criticism in a way that honors God and others; Raising financial support.

College Coordinator
Summary: The College Coordinator will build relationships with students on strategic college campuses around Roanoke, coordinate all college-related events, studies, and outreach efforts for Redemption Church, and be the chief fundraiser for the college ministry.

Competencies: Networking; Casting and implementing vision; Decoding campus culture; Leading volunteer and student teams; Managing a budget; Raising financial support.
