In honor of this being Good Friday, I took time to record a short video (9 mins) reflecting on Hebrews 2:5-18. It’s a passage of Scripture that really helps us consider the reason God became human and died on our behalf, answering the question: Why is Easter even necessary?
Ultimately, he became human so he could die, taking the punishment for our rebellion on himself… he took our place! He valued humanity so much, that he was willing to suffer like we suffer, then die so that we don’t have to. Wow!
