Scripture: Matthew 22:15-22
This week, we study Matthew 22:15-22 to learn how to view politics as a Christian. Jesus said: “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and give to God what is God’s.” It’s important to submit to earthly authority as a good citizen. However, our identity is ultimately in submitting to God, our heavenly authority, as citizens of another world. We need to filter our politics through our faith, not the other way around.
