Pray and Fast
Kids Weekend is such an exciting time for our church! Through it, we have the opportunity to reach so many kids with the life changing message of the gospel and make connections with their families and invite them to come and hear the good news!
We hope you will join us in crying out to the Lord, that He would move through Kids Weekend to save kids and parents as we pray and fast together.
The week leading up to Kids Weekend, our lead team will be fasting and praying over what God can and will do this year through our volunteers. We hope you will consider fasting and praying with us!
Prayer Guide
June 8 – Pray the Lord will provide all the Team Members needed for Kids Weekend!
“And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” ~ Luke 10:2
June 13 – Pray that individuals, community groups, and serve teams will make meaningful connections in the community as they invite families to Kids Weekend.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” ~ Acts 1:8
June 15 – Cry out to the Lord on behalf of all those who have been invited, who will attend, and who will serve. Pray we will see the truth proclaimed, lives transformed, and relationships deepened!
“So Aaron shall bear the names of the sons of Israel in the breastpiece of judgment on his heart, when he goes into the Holy Place, to bring them to regular remembrance before the Lord.”
June 20 – Pray we will see at least 40 kids come to hear the good news through Kids Weekend!
“…but Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” ~ Matthew 19:14
June 21 – Pray community group members will deepen their relationships with each other as they serve together during Kids Weekend.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works…” ~ Hebrews 10: 24
June 22 – Pray Kids Weekend Team Members will have opportunities to have gospel conversations with kids.
“At the same time, pray also for us, that God may open to us a door for the word, to declare the mystery of Christ…” ~ Colossians 4:3
June 23 – Pray kids will place faith in Christ and grow deeper in their relationship with the Lord through Kids Weekend!
“…if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” ~ Romans 10:9
June 24 – Pray families who have come to Redemption for the first time through Kids Weekend will come and hear the gospel during our weekend services.
“The Spirit and the Bride say, ‘Come.’ And let the one who is thirst come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.” ~ Revelation 22:17
June 25 – Kids Weekend Ends. Pray for God to do more than we can ask or think in the lives of the kids and families who attended, especially those who may not be members of Redemption Church. Pray that God will move in their hearts so they’ll want to get connected to Christian community.
