The Sinner & The Sufferer
Scripture: Genesis 16-17
This week we continue our Made For More series as we look at Genesis chapters 16 and 17. Abraham and Sarah bring chaos into Hagar’s life by sinning against her. They doubt God’s promise, and commit a sin similar to Adam and Eve in the Garden. But, God brings order out of chaos. He enters into their story and shows care for the sufferer while he also shows grace to the sinner. Thankfully, he would deal with the chaos brought into the world by becoming the ultimate Hagar and the better Abraham in Jesus.
