Scripture: Mark 8:34-38
Who are you, really? Our culture tells us to look inside ourselves, discover our deepest desires, and define our own identity. But Jesus offers a radically different answer: I am God’s. In Mark 8:34–38, Jesus teaches that finding who we truly are begins by giving up our right to define ourselves and trusting the One who made us. In this message from our Questions Worth Asking series, we explore why our identity must come from outside ourselves, how sin makes us want to say “I belong to me,” and why Jesus can be trusted with every part of our lives. The Jesus who asks for your life is the Jesus who first gave his life for you.
We hope this encourages and challenges you. Thanks for watching or listening!
