The Plan for Easter
Hey Redemption Church, I’m so excited that we’re going to try out two (2) services for Easter! Let me explain what that means and what we’re asking of you.
What it means is, we’re going to host two services temporarily for four weeks: the two weeks before Easter, Easter, and the week after.
Dates: March 17th, March 24th, March 31st (Easter), & April 7th
Times: 9:15am & 11:00am
Then, we’ll go back to one service on April 14th until we have a need to move to two services again in the future.
You guys know, our Christmas service had over 180 people present, which was awesome! But because of the size of our lobby, kids space, and parking lot, that made things pretty tight. What an exciting problem to have!
We’re trusting God to use you to invite and bring even more people on Easter. There will likely be over 200 people present. We have to make sure there’s room for those people to hear the gospel and worship God with us.
With two services, we want to encourage you to do two things…
First, invite as many people as you can. Set a goal for yourself and/or your family. Use the inviter cards we will give you, share on social media, but also be proactive to invite by word of mouth.
Attend One, Serve One
Second, we want you to commit to attending one and serving one. Attend one service every Sunday for these four weeks, and serve one service every Sunday for these four weeks.
We’re asking you to commit to being present and engaged in the mission with us during this season! You will grow in your faith as you gather with the church body, but you’ll also get to serve others so they can hear the gospel and grow in their faith, as well.
If you have kids, feel free to bring them into the service with you while you’re attending. Or, as I’ll do with my kids, let them enjoy the RKids worship experience twice! They’ll enjoy more time with their friends and two chances to get the lesson deeper down into their soul.
If you’re a member, or if you believe in the mission at Redemption Church, we want you to go all in on this with us. Don’t opt out on God’s mission through our local church!

Let’s pray and ask God to move, because we know that he does the miracle. But let’s prepare as many jars as we can for his glory and our joy.
